Obituary

CHARLES (CHUCK) CAHA Charles Leland Caha, 64, passed away Sept. 19, 2013, in Death Valley, Calif. He was born Sept. 24, 1948, in David City, Neb., and was a resident of Pahrump for 22 years, coming from Wahoo, Neb. He served in the U.S. Navy, and was a Vietnam Vet. Chuck was a great family man that loved to party hard and had the gift of gab. He was happiest behind the wheel of a tractor and any kind of "big boy toy". His smile and his laugh were contagious and always seemed to light up the room. He will be greatly missed by all. Chuck was preceded in death by his father, Rudolph Caha, and mother, Gladys Caha, of Wahoo, Neb. He is survived by his wife, Mary Caha, of Pahrump, Nev.; daughter Traci (Corey) Myers, of Coon Rapids, Minn.; son, Jeff (Erica) Caha, of Portales, N.M.; sister, Luann Schetky, of Juneau, AK; brother Jerry (Lucy) Caha of Pahrump; half-brother Mark (Cindy) Dale of Ariz.; half-brother Kevin (Shirley) Dale of Ariz.; aunt Delvina Stone of Las Vegas, Nev.; step-daughter, Renee Munson of Pahrump; step-son, Jeff Eves, of Mich.; step-daughter Patty Lapp, of Pahrump; and several nieces, nephews and grandchildren. There will be a Celebration Of Life held at 2 P.M. on Saturday, Sept. 28 at the Moose Lodge on 2nd & Center St.
