Pete VILLA

PETE VILLA Pete G. Villa, 79, completed his Circle of Life on March 30, 2013. He was born May 19, 1933 in Steins, New Mexico to Hilario R. Villa and Dolorez Garcia Villa. He had been a Pahrump resident since 1999, moving from Shelton, Wash. He is survived by his wife Barbara, daughters Debora, Comrada (Douglas), Pamela (George), Judy, Teresa (Leon) and son Larrry (Donna); his brother Juan (Irene) David (Mary) sisters Dora and Ofelia. He has numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, a sister and his daughter Vivian. Pete was a veteran of the Korean War receiving an "Ambassador of Peace" Certificate from the Northwest Chapter of the "Chosin Few" and the Consulate General of the Republic of Korea. Pete was a Life Member of the VFW, Veterans of Underage Military Service, and Good Sam Club. He was a member of Moose Lodge #808, Elks Lodge #2796 and a past member of the Over the Hump Travelers. After retiring from Operating Engineers Local #302, he was an avid traveler and golf was his passion. A Circle of Life Celebration will be held at Lakeview Golf Course Pro Shop on April 13th at 3:30 PM Following cremation, interment at Grandview Cemetery was private. In lieu of flowers make donations to Pahrump Chapter, Nathan Adelson Hospice.
