ROBERT HUNN

ROBERT HUNN Robert "Bob" Allen Hunn, 71, passed away on Aug. 30, 2013, in Las Vegas. He was born on Nov. 29, 1941, in Albuquerque, N.M., and was a Pahrump resident since 1998, coming from Oakley, Calif. He was preceded in death his parents, Ralph and Joyce Hunn; sisters: Toni Hunn and Mona Kelley; and granddaughter, Velyan Sky. He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Carol Hunn of Pahrump; daughter, Angela Hunn of Pahrump; son, Beau (Ricki) Hunn of Pahrump; sisters: Francene, Saundra, and Rhia of Calif.; and Myralene of Kauai. He also has 5 grandchildren: Tyler, Kellie, Natalie, Brandon and Cooper. Bob had served in the United States Marine Corps. He graduated from Cal Baptist University and received his MDIV at Southwestern Seminary. He served the Lord through evangelistic work as a pastor and music director. He directed the "29 Palms Marine Corp Choir," "The Billy Graham Crusade Choir," "Lively Stones," & many other choirs. Bob performed in gospel groups including Pahrump-based "Wings of Love." Bob traveled the country with the "Bob Hunn Evangelistic Association," where he preached and sang in churches across the country accompanied by his pianist wife, Carol. He was an avid gardener who turned every yard into "Hunn's Happy Haven." He will be greatly missed by his numerous friends and family members. Services are within our hearts.
