ANNA KOKER Anna Koker passed away Aug. 13, 2017 in Pahrump. She was born Aug. 31, 1932 in Leavenworth, Kan. Previously from Las Vegas, she had been a Pahrump resident for 34 years. Anna would have been 85 on Aug. 31 this year. She was married for 52 years to the love of her life, Wray. For the last year-and-a-half she resided with her daughter Kathryn and son-in-law. She had been attending the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses. She will be greatly missed. Anna requested that her ashes and her husband's ashes be taken to Oregon and scattered at a later date. Anna was preceded in death by her father, Eugene McCormack; mother, Hazel Boyd; stepfather Preston Boyd; sisters Lucille McCormack and Jean Younker; and her beloved husband, Wray Koker. She is survived by her daughters, Kathryn Edwards, Pahrump, Lynda Stanley, Kernville, Calif.; son, Samuel Koker, Pahrump; son-in-law Guy Edwards, Pahrump; daughter-in-law Cheryl Mills, Las Vegas; nieces Rhonda Younker and Cam Kerst-Davis of Bellingham, Wash.; niece, Laura Koker and nephew Donald Koker of Prineville, Ore.; six grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; as well as many friends.
