Betty Anderson Obituary
BETTY ANDERSON Betty Anderson was born to Frank and Mary Seymour on Jan. 21, 1933 in Sunnyside, WA, where she also grew up alongside seven other siblings. Her mother remarried when Betty was just a toddler, and she grew up with her step-father Warren Green being the only father she knew. Cliff and Betty married on Jan. 3, 1950 in Everett, WA. They had four children: Pennie, Pattie, Terrie and Jerry. They lived off and on in Las Vegas over the years, but also lived a few years in Alaska, as well as short stays in northern NV, MN and AZ. They have lived in Pahrump since Jan. 1, 1992. She was a dedicated Christian and an active member of Pahrump Community Church. After a lengthy battle with declining health, God called Betty home at 11:30 p.m. on Mon., Jan. 30, 2017. She was 84 years old. Betty was preceded in death by her parents, Warren and Mary Green; sisters: Barb, Katherine, Mildred and Florence; parents-in-law Andy and Vera Anderson, brothers-in-law: John, Neil and David; son-in-law Kenneth Randall; daughter Pennie Faye Leighton and Pennie's huband Robert Leighton. She is survived by her loving and devoted husband Cliff; children: Pattie and Jerry (Pahrump) Terrie and son-in-law Eddie LaRue (Las Vegas), brothers: Bill (Hawaii) and Don (Yakima, WA); sister Hazel (Yakima, WA); grandchildren: Clifford and Michael Leighton, Eddie LaRue, Jr. and Whitney Anderson; and eight great-grandchildren. Betty is dearly loved and will be truly missed, but we look forward to a grand reunion in glory when all God's children through faith in Jesus will be forever with the Lord! Services will be held at Pahrump Community Church, 1061 E. Wilson Rd, on Sat. Feb. 18 at 11:00 a.m.
