Edwin Henry "Fast Eddie" Fienhold Obituary
EDWIN HENRY FIENHOLD Edwin Henry Fienhold, "Fast Eddie," passed away Jan. 15, 2018 in Pahrump. He was born Dec. 17, 1935 in Little Rock, Ark. Previously residing in Las Vegas, he had been a resident of Pahrump for 44 years. Edwin was a lifelong ham radio operator. He enjoyed the outdoors, camping, fishing, gardening, and building up the homestead in Pahrump. He worked his way up the ladder at the Nevada Test Site, retiring as a commanding supervisor in the mid-90's. He worked tirelessly on many projects, including a very large detonation in the Aleutian Islands of Alaska. He passed peacefully with his faithful dog by his side, surrounded by loving family. Edwin was preceded in death by his wife, Velma Louise Bryson Fienhold of Pahrump; son, Christopher Edwin Fienhold, Pahrump; and son, Eric Keith Porter, Fort Washakie, Wyo. He is survived by son, David Fienhold, Fort Washakie, Wyo.; son, James Fienhold, Pahrump; granddaughter, Jennifer Lynne Fienhold, Fort Washakie, Wyo.; numerous stepchildren with their countless children and grandchildren. Services will be held on Jan. 20 at Shepherd of the Valley Church near Basin and Blagg at 11 am.
