GEORGE "BUCKY" A. GABISCH, JR. George "Bucky" A. Gabisch, Jr., 67, of Townsend, Montanna passed away Monday, April 17, 2017 at Inspirations Senior Living in Pahrump. George was born Nov. 21, 1949 in Townsend, Mont. to George and Muriel Gabisch. He graduated from Broadwater High School in 1968 and attended California State University, Fresno for physical education from 1973 to 1978 with dreams of becoming a sports broadcaster. George served in the U.S. Army during Vietnam from 1969 to 1971, and served as a security officer and computer technician in the U.S. Navy from 1980 to 1998. After retiring from the military, he became an avid RV-er and belonged to several RV clubs such as the Escapees and WIN. George loved traveling throughout the U.S., Europe, Mexico, and other parts of the world. He enjoyed running, long walks, drinking slushies, and learning about geography, history and astronomy. George was preceded in death by his parents, George and Muriel; sisters, Barbara and Linda. He is survived by his son, Jason A. Gabisch and his wife Julianne of San Diego, Calif.; his brother Gary Gabisch of Helena, Mont.; two sisters, Marie McKay of Cheyenne, Wyo. and Diane Wilson of Salt Lake City, Utah.
