JOSEPH FRANCIS WILINSKI July 5, 1927 to July 6, 2017 Joseph Francis Wilinski, age 90, was born in Brooklyn, N.Y., moved to New Jersey and then to Nevada. He was a resident of Pahrump for over 17 years. Joe was a veteran of World War II and served in the U.S. Navy. Joe was chosen to go on the Honor Flight to Washington, D.C. It was one of the most wonderful times of his life, to be honored that way. He talked about it all the time and his friend, Jamie, who was his escort for the flight; and whom he was able to visit in Baltimore, Md. on his trip back East. Joe met Marty at the Pahrump Nugget while dancing and they were regulars every weekend. They never stopped dancing and everyone loved to watch them. They traveled 7,000 miles to see both of their families. They loved to play bingo at Saddle West casino, and loved to travel to Mesquite and Laughlin to dance to their favorite bands every chance they got. Joe was loved by everyone who met him and they loved to watch him dance. He enjoyed life and all of his friends. He was an awesome man, who enjoyed life to the fullest. He is survived by Martha-Ann Wilinski; his daughters, Cheryl Noonan and Barbara Jaffe; son, Stanley Wilinski; his five grandchldren and five great-grandchildren. Joe will be buried in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City, Nevada on the 17th of July, 2017. He will be sadly missed by everyone, but we know he is in heaven and at peace. "You will always be in my heart, and I will love you forever. Martha-Ann Wilinski."
