ROBIN LEEANN SWAN Robin LeeAnn Swan passed to God on June 30, 2017 at the age of 83. Robin was one of nine children. She moved to Pahrump 18 years ago. Robin taught ballroom dancing and was a member of the Mount Baker Kennel Club and Sheltie International for 35 years and had many U.S. and Canadian champions as well as in Norway. Robin worked at the family business (Swan Moving & Storage, Allied Van Lines, Bellingham, Wash.) until she retired. She travelled to China, Africa, Spain and other countries. Robin was a member of Trick Trucks and Pahrump Valley Cruisers, showing cars from Beatty, Las Vegas, and Mesquite. She drove the Route 66 Arizona Run in the 1957 T-Bird, 73 Buick, and once in the 1964 T-Bird Sports Roadster. These past few years, she rode with the Pahrump V.F.W. Harley Riders. She lived a full life,, always singing or telling funny stories. The joy of life is the music in our hearts, is how Robin was. She will be missed. Robin is survived by her husband, Dave Christiansen; one daughter, Vicki Clement; two granddaughters, Rochelle and Erin; three great-grandchildren, Tanner, Morgan and Carter; brother, Rodney; and two sisters, Ruth and Melody, all of Washington state.
