GLENDON DURELL JACKSON Glendon Durell Jackson was born to James F. Jackson and Nora I. Thompson as the youngest of six children. Born Oct. 26, 1924, in Elevenpoint, Ark., where he was introduced to hunting and fishing, which became a large part of who he was. He received the the Victory Medal for doing his duty in WWII (Navy) while in the Asiatic Pacific area serving as MM3. His beliefs were in accordance with the Brotherhood of the Masons. Glenn moved to Pahrump valley in 1987 after retiring from International Harvester as a Diesel Mechanic. He was preceded in death by his parents, all his siblings, and his daughter, Wanda L. Barbee of Bryon, Calif. He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Dollie M. Jackson, and both of his sons: James F. Jackson of Myrtle Creek, Ore., and Robert D. Jackson of Antioch, Calif., along with 5 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Services will be held at Lee Funeral Home in Pahrump at 2:00 pm on Thursday, August 21st.
