DOROTHY "DOTTI" SCHULTZ Dorothy Edith "Dotti" Schultz, age 92, passed away November 4, 2017, from complications from a fall in August, which resulted in hip replacement surgery, hospitalizations and rehab. "Dotti" was born August 10, 1925, in Brooklyn, New York, the fourth of five children born to Albert and Ella Wrigley. She married Dwight "Dutch" Schultz December 22, 1962. She was very active all her life. As president of the Toastmistress Club she won several awards for public speaking. She was the president of the elementary, junior high and high school PTA's that her children attended. She was the Girl Scout leader for many years with Dale, along with the Neighborhood Chairman and many other offices. She also enjoyed her job at the Garden Grove Unified School District Office in California until she retired to travel with her husband, Dutch. They had camped at least monthly for many years with the Orange County C.B. Radio Club and then the Garden Grove Elkenders while the children were growing up and after until their retirement. When they retired, they went to work for Point South RV Tours and ran RV tours all over Canada, Mexico and the USA including Alaska. They also took many tours overseas to Australia, New Zealand, Russia, England, and many other parts of Europe. Dotti was an accomplished artist. Her outstanding works were baking and decorating fabulous cakes and crocheting. She was always prepared with a full Baby Layette Set for every new arrival to her family, all are still treasured by their recipients. She won numerous First Place Awards for her Baby Christening Gowns and all her beautiful lace work. Dotti is survived by her husband, "Dutch;" daughter, Dale Rausch; sons, Thomas Ewen and Donald Schultz; stepchildren, Dwight Jr., and Debra Schultz; six grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren. Dotti was preceded in death by her parents; all four of her siblings; and her prior husband. Dorothy "Dotti" is being cremated and will be inurned with her loving husband, Dwight "Dutch" when he joins her, at Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 1900 Veterans Memorial Drive, in Boulder City. The family is planning a celebration of her life after the holiday season in January 2018.
