DWIGHT ARDELL SPROUL, SR. Dwight died May 20, 2018 on Highway 95 north of Highway 160. He was born Feb. 2, 1965 to Lawrence and Vonnell Sproul in Henderson, Nev. They moved from Las Vegas to Pahrump in 1970, where he lived the rest of his life. His father preceded him in death in 2012. Dwight was the eldest of eight, and is survived by his ex-wife, Veronica; two sons that were his world, Dwight Sproul Jr. (19) and Ronnie (17); his mother, St. Marie's, Idaho; siblings, Lawrence, Colo.; Evelyn, Idaho; Ralph, Wash.; Denise, Texas; Robert, Idaho; Kyle, Idaho; Kaleb, Idaho; and best friend of over 50 years, Marty Daffer. Dwight was a journeyman electrician, heavy equipment operator and overall handyman. He loved restoring old vehicles, going off-roading, exploring, fishing, hunting and helping friends and strangers alike. He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and actively involved in Boy Scouts and homeschooling, where his boys excelled. Dwight was our big teddy bear with a huge heart who would help anyone who asked. His passing left a huge dent in our family and the community. Everyone is invited to attend his memorial service celebrating his life on July 7, 2018 at 11:00 a.m., located at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints 5461 Manse Rd, Pahrump, NV 89061.
