FLOYD RICHMOND, SR. Floyd Richmond, Sr., 87, passed away on May 23, 2018 in Pahrump. He was born on May 8, 1931 in Philadelphia, Penn. and moved to Pahrump in 2005 from Honolulu, Hawaii. He was a decorated membr of the U.S. Army Korean Campaign Airborne Signal Corps, a member of the American Legion, both in Philadelphia and Post 22 in Pahrump, the Independent Order of Odd Fellows Lodge, as well as an ordained Deacon in Hawaii. He was well-read, friendly and just enjoyed life. He was a loving son, brother, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, great-great-grandfather and friend. He was a true patriarch of the Richmond clan. Dad, we love you and miss you very much. Thank you for your counsel, teaching us values and the love a father shows his family. He was preceded in death by his wife, Virginia Richmond (nee Mouton), whom he married in 1951, and she passed in 2010. He is survived by his children, Floyd Richmond,Jr., Mark (Ingrid) Richmond, Frank W. Richmond II, Brenda Richmond, Joyce (Herbert) Richmond-Kinsey; and brother-in-law, Raymond (Juanita) Mouton. He had 20 grandchildren, 62 great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.
