Laurel was a dear friend of mine, and anyone who was lucky enough to know her has felt her absolute light and radiance from miles away. The memory that sticks out the most between the two of us, was after our middle school musical, How To Succeed In Business Without Really Trying, ended. The whole cast had bonded, but especially the leads, which the two of us were. After the last show ended, we knew the eighth graders would be emotional, as it was our last show, but I looked over and saw Laurel crying her eyes out, just like the upcoming graduates. I remember her saying that she was basically an eighth grader, because of the bond she had developed with the rest of us. Even though age wise, she wasn't technically, she was one of us. She was one of the most incredible people I have ever had the pleasure of calling my friend. She was the most emotionally in-touch person I've ever known, most compassionate, dedicated and kindest person as well. I will remember the night of our last show as long as I live, and go every day wishing we could've made more memories. I love you, my dear amazing friend. I miss you everyday, and I will always carry you in my heart. Sleep well my angel.
