ROGER WILLIAM BURNLEY Roger Burnley, 87, passed peacefully in hospice July 29, 2020 following a traumatic brain injury. A longtime resident of Pahrump, he was a Navy Veteran, owned Pahrump Valley Insurance, was an elite insurance salesman for most of his career, and was an involved member of the community. He was "STRETCH MAGOON" in the Single Action Shooting Society and is fondly remembered for shooting a table. He was well-liked and known for his tall tales. He loved shooting, drinking, cigars, dancing, and playing pool. He is survived by his first wife, Gloria Burnley; sister-in-law, Evelyn Burnley, (wife of John Burnley); children, Laura Burnley, Pamela Burnley, Breese Burnley (married to Ruby), and Valerie Burnley Mack, (married to Harvey J. Mack); grandchildren, Landon, Peanut, and Porter. He was preceded in death by his second wife, Patricia Burnley, and is survived by five stepchildren, 13 great grandchildren and 34 great-great grandchildren. He is also survived by many friends and outlaws. He will be buried in the Chief Tecopa Cemetery, Veterans Section. Timing of memorial service will be announced a.s.a.p.
