RONALD C. GLYNN Ronald C. Glynn, age 85, went to meet his Maker on May 28, 2018 following a brief illness. He was born October 15, 1932 in Waltham, Mass., the second of three children to Walter and Alice Glynn, both who preceded him in death. He was also preceded in death by his older brother, Walter Glynn, Jr. Ronald is survived by his devoted wife of 46 years, Gail Glynn; his two children, Dennis C.Glynn of Conn., and Robyn M. Hudson of Colorado; three grandchildren, Erica A. (Ryan) Lopez and Andrew C. Eggleston, both of Colorado, and Garrett F. Glynn of Conn.; and his sister, Shirley (Charles) Middleton of Mass. Ron was a college senior at 19 years of age and completed seven years altogether having attended Boston University and Boston College Law School. He also earned a real estate license in Massachusetts. Following serving in the 1st Infantry Division during the Korean War, he resumed his work career by completing a Controller's Training Program at General Motors while attending law school. He worked for nearly 40 years in various capacities, including as a division contracts manager and international contracts manager. Additionally, he had several business ventures including real estate and various retail establishments. Throughout his life, he was active in the Catholic Church, including serving in Pahrump as a member of the new church building committee, the finance committee for 10 years, and the choir for several years. He was a former member of the International Police Chief Association, the Junior Chamber of Commerce and the Knights of Columbus. Traveling throughout the world for over two decades, he identified himself as a proud Irish-American. Memorial services will be held in Pahrump at Our Lady of the Valley Roman Catholic Church on June 14, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. A private internment of the ashes will be held at St. Therese Mission in Tecopa, Calif.
