ARLENE CAROL VAA Arlene Carol Vaa, 65, formerly of Champlin, Minn., unexpectedly passed away September 18, 2020 at her home in Pahrump. She was born January 7, 1955 as the third child of Leon and Norma Enney. Arlene was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Carl Philippi. She is survived by her four sons, Earl Vaa, Nick (Denise) Vaa, Joe (Tracy) Vaa, and Adam Vaa; siblings, Jean Clifford, Elaine Debra Fluke, Terry Fransen, Richard Philippi, Robert Philippi, and Dawn Fransen. Arlene lived in Pahrump for six years and was a loving mother, grandmother to eight grandchildren, avid bowler, and animal lover. She won several trophies and tournaments as a bowler. She adored her animals; especially her four dogs, which she spoiled, and her chickens. She volunteered at a local animal shelter, PAWS. At this time, no service is planned.
