August 24, 2020
On Monday, August 24, 2020, Bobby Lee Martinez, passed away at Sunrise Hospital in Las Vegas, Nevada. Bobby was born on December 4, 1944, in Reno, Nevada and grew up in Herlong, California. He served as a sonar technician in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War.

After commuting from Las Vegas to be the Smith's friendly butcher in Pahrump, he moved here to retire. Bobby loved the Pahrump community and you may recognize his infectious smile as someone who was always willing to help others. Whether Bobby was playing Texas Holdem with good friends, island vacationing with family, his quick wit and friendliness kept others

looking forward to the next time they saw Bobby.

Bobby's compassionate spirit came from his deep belief in God. His loving family and friends will celebrate his life at a later date when social distancing is not a requirement for a gathering.

Bobby had a tender heart for children and was a regular supporter of St. Judes Hospital for Children. It would be an honor if donations were made in his memory to his favorite charity. No services scheduled.
