JOHN C. DANKOWSKI John C. Dankowski passed away Dec. 17, 2020 in Pahrump. He was born May 9, 1935 in Chicago, Illinois. He was a husband twice, a father to six children, many grandchildren and some great grandchildren. He was a Catholic and past member to the Knights of Columbus and Holy Name Society. John's formal education started when he was very young by being sent to All Boys Catholic Military School. His formal education ended when he graduated from California State, Los Angeles with a BS in mechanical engineering. John was a professional mechanical engineer who specialized in black projects; (some specific to Nevada) specifically aerial photography and vibration. He was well respected in the industry and had a couple of patents. His job title was normally special projects engineer. John's favorite song was "My Way" by Frank Sinatra. He spent the majority of his life in California and died in Pahrump with his son, Gregory A. Dankowski, by his side.
