Richard (Rick) Earl Reiss Jr, was born 11/24/1953 and died in Las Vegas Nevada 10/28/2020 after a brief illness, Preceded in death by parents Richard E Reiss Sr and Betty J Smith. The youngest child of 3 and only boy, Rick is survived by wife, Tracy L Reiss, sister Vicki Gerkin of Bartlesville OK, brother in- law John, niece, Carrie and nephew Scott. Joseph Alvarez, Taeya Tobin children by marriage and grandchildren Kylie and Kaleb Alvarez. Rick attended Oklahoma State University where he graduated with a degree in Nuclear Physics. He was employed by MSTS and loved his job and coworkers. Rick was known for positivity, seeing the blessed lessons in all situations. Through his life he lifted many with his caring actions and kind words. He believed wholeheartedly what you put into this world you receive 10 fold. He is loved by many and respected by many more. Those of us who were privileged enough to have this man in our lives know what this world has lost. To my husband my, love, my heart, my life, my PERSON. I honor you in everything I do, in every action and every breath, I will reflect you and what you were to the core. Your legacy is those you touched and we will keep you always. A wonderful, caring, kind, human being. A human among humans. Taken from his family before he and they were ready. His energy and skills were needed elsewhere. They will be united again
