TELLA ELIZABETH VORE Tella Elizabeth Vore was born June 24, 1936 in Miami, Fla. God took her home Dec. 14, 2020 after a nine month-long fight with cancer. She moved to Pahrump in 1998 after 18 years in Las Vegas. In Las Vegas, she was a cake decorator for Vons Market. She was a member of the Women of the Moose Red Rock chapter #862 after being Past Senior Regent of North Las Vegas Lodge #1928. She was also Past Exalted Ruler of North Las Vegas Elks Lodge #2353. She is survived by husband John; daughters, Peggy Smith (David) of Las Vegas and Debra Baumgartner of Fla.; stepsons, Robert Vore (Nancy) and Michel (Kim); seven grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, and one great-great grandson. She was preceded in death by her parents, Clyde and Luella Chapman; son, Chuck Blaxton; brothers, Jack and Leslie Chapman. Services will be held on Saturday, Jan. 16, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at Choice Hills Baptist Church, 340 W. Mesquite Ave., Pahrump, NV. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the Church camp fund for the kids. Because of covid-19, this service will be for several Church members that have passed.
